ANTIQUE 1.1 Carat Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Dangle Earrings 18k White Gold Platinum French Linear Six Stone Art Deco

ABOUT:

Beautiful design and sparkle to these French antique dangle earrings, each holding a row of six slightly graduating old mine cut diamonds in bezel settings with milgrain details. Each earring measures a little over half a carat for a total carat weight of 1.1 carats tdw.

Crafted in 18k white gold and platinum. There is a linear post below the top diamond stud portion which is fixed, connecting it to the next stone. The 2nd through 6th stones are then attached by bars and loops so they can dangle independently. This allows them movement so they can catch the light and sparkle.

Art Deco era pair of earrings that I acquired in Paris. The posts are hallmarked with the French stamps for 18k and platinum. Timeless design with the relevant and classic linear look. But Please note the measurements.

Would be a beautiful something old for a bride.

Antique box not included. Once more - Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers draw them out to get an idea of scale.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

They measure about 24mm top to bottom. The pair weighs 4g combined.

The diamonds on each measure 3.3mm / 3.3mm / 3mm / 2.5mm / 2mm / 2mm. Depths vary and I would not remove them from the setting for exact measurements but estimates to around .55 carat per earring, 1.1 carat total weight in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Typical antique diamonds with natural inclusions and some frosty spots. Each of the diamonds individually are small so this is not very evident to the eye. They have a lovely sparkle but there are definite frosty areas under magnification, no dark or glaring carbon spots. No damage, no movement, sturdy settings with tight pushbacks, very secure to wear.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
