Antique One CARAT Old Mine Cut DiAMOND Five Stone Sapphire East West HALO Ring Carre Square Cut Stacker Band 14k Gold

ABOUT:
Personal collection release! I've had this one forever but I'm not giving it the love it deserves so it's looking for a new home. Unique form with the chunky old mine cuts surrounded by a halo set east to west. Certainly one of the most unique five stone bands I've seen and had.

Gosh am I in love with old cut diamonds. Amazing sparkle and eye catching impact on this chunky wide band half hoop whose face is set with 5 nice sized old mine cut diamonds totaling around .one carat total diamond weight. As an added delight, there are small square / carry cut sapphires channel set all around the outline of the ring for a lovely bit of color. The shank is in 14k rosy gold and the ring face is topped in a white precious metal as was customary for the period.

I love the linear row design of the ring face with the blue linear outline.

The perfect stacker as it adds a lot of interest but still layers nicely, and also a beautiful worn alone, as a wedding or anniversary band.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to determine scale from photos.

HALLMARKS:
It has the Austrian hallmark for 14k gold used in the 1800s until 1922.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

It is a size 6 1/2.
The center stone is about 4mm and about .25 carat. The others are 3.5 to 3.8mm each. Total carat weight of about 1 full carat.

It weighs 3 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Typical antique diamonds with irregular facets and some feathery inclusions and slightly warmer hue. None of the inclusions are visible to the eye and they have a lovely antique look and sparkle, but do sometimes reflect a bit of a very very light gray tint due to the chunky cuts. No nicks, chips or cracks to the diamonds. A few gaps between the sapphires seen under magnification, but it presents as a complete, blue outline while wearing. Under magnification I can see some nicks on a few of the sapphires but this is not seen with the eye. The diamonds do move a bit in the little bead prongs so I do recommend gentle wear being an older piece, it would also be difficult to replace the little square cut sapphires.

Shank is sturdy. Still an unbelievable amount of sparkle on this fun stackable piece. It wears beautifully! But Due to age - please note this is not a mint condition item.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
