Unique shapes with a fun pop of color! I love the versatility and stackability of gypsy bands, especially the chunky ones that also make a statement alone, and this one is quite special. I have found it somewhat uncommon to find Emerald gypsy bands, (I most often find them with sapphires or just diamonds) so I was thrilled to find this one not only with an emerald but with the unique princes cut diamonds nestled into each side.

This is a substantial one as well with a wonderful glow and the color to the domed natural emerald is...wow. The emerald is in good condition (we often find vintage pieces where the emerald is scuffed and abraided but this one has a nice sheen overall). I love the way the stone is set east west. And it weighs nearly 11 grams in 18k gold so it's quite the little nugget.

The emerald is natural and quite obviously so, but I do not know origin or treatment. My items do well without paperwork so I sell them based on what I paid vs. taking them apart to send for testing.

Found in Switzerland. It is stamped inside with the 750 mark, the numerical hallmark used in Europe for 18k gold.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included although I'll find a fun vintage box to include with it from my personal collection.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/4, super sturdy - you would want to discuss with your local jeweler to determine their comfort level with sizing and to what extent as it depends on the person doing the work, often you can text or email photos from the listing for feedback.

The ring face is 11.8mm north to south tapering towards the back and stands 7mm off the finger. It weighs a very sturdy 10.8 grams. The diamond are about 2.2mm square. The emerald is about 12x10mm and 6.5mm deep. I would not remove it for measurement but I would guess it is over 5 carats? Refer to the mm measurements though to visualize scale.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are preowned and in estate condition. The diamonds are nice and flashy with no damage and no eye visible inclusions. The emerald is in good condition as well in that it does not have a matte finish from scuffs and scratches, rather it has a lovely sheen and polish and inner glow. There are natural inclusions, some quite frosty / cloudy areas and there are areas where these inclusions carry up to the surface leaving a little nick or a tiny line smaller than a hair and seen only under strong and lit magnification. All things one would expect to see on a vintage pre-owned emerald. The stone is super stable, very well set, the piece is very sturdy. Some surface wear to the gold but that too is better than most. There are no dark spots to the gold, it was just difficult to photograph because it is so shiny and mirrored that it reflects its surroundings, including the trees outside the window. Fun one to wear and stack with the best geometry!

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
