HEART French Antique Ruby Old Mine Cut Diamond 18k Gold Figural Halo Ring Pink Colorful Stacker Romantic Gift

The sweetest antique figural heart ring from Paris! This one features a pear shaped ruby mean to resemble the shape of a heart. It is surrounded by a halo of old mine cut and old mine single cut diamonds.

Due to the vibrant color and clarity of the ruby, I assume it is synthetic, a very popular choice for the period, sought after even more than naturals as they were all the rage! This one is in better than most condition with a wonderful sheen and polish to compliment its wonderful fuchsia pink coloring. The diamonds are set with bead prongs and a cut down collet outside edge.

Sturdy shank, the piece is crafted in 18k gold. No hallmarks remain which is actually quite common for French pieces as they are often lost from sizing or from wear due to their location but tested as 18k.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 4 3/4. It is quite stable so should be sizable to an extent but you'd want to check with your local jeweler who would be doing the work to determine their comfort level.
The diamonds are small, each about 1.5mm. The ruby is 6.4x6.7mm.
10mm north south. 5.2mm tall off the finger.
It weighs 2.4 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The ruby is in better than most condition and the piece is very stable. Typical antique diamonds with some faint natural speck inclusions but they are small so they just add a glint of sparkle.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
