Vintage 18k White Gold Solid Eye Clean East West Five Stone Baguette Diamond Ring Skinny Stacker Band

ABOUT:

An interesting French vintage stacker with five baguette diamonds. The diamonds are channel set into the ring face and set east to west for a unique geometry. The rectangular table facets catch the light to shimmer and sparkle.

This would make a minimalist statement worn alone but of course layers perfectly too. I like layering pieces like these with chunky yellow donuts for contrast. I'm hoping it sticks around for awhile so I can wear it a bit with the old cut asscher and a gold band to get it out of my system. I love it, just not a super commonly found style.

Vintage piece found in Paris. French hallmark for 18k gold and goldsmith stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 1/4 just slightly snug. The diamonds are about 3.8 by 1.7mm, the end stones shorter at 3.5mm. I don't have a good way to weigh them without removing them but using online charts by mm puts the larger ones at around .15 carat each and the end stones at .08 each.
2.8mm north south.
It weighs 1.8 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The diamonds are bright and for the most part eye clean with just a few speck inclusions, no dark or glaring carbon and nothing that jumps out. The bezels are in good shape. Slight warmth may be seen but much of that is from build up within the setting. I gave the front and back a cleaning but could just a little more time soaking.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
