STAR Blue OPAL Pearl Beads Dangle Earrings Cluster Antique Victorian Iridescent Figural Celestial

I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

We antique jewelry addicts love our figurals! Here's a fun and fabulous pair of star earrings with wonderful coloring. The elongated stars are set with a cluster of iridescent blue opals with a center pearl and a smaller pearl on the tip of each star point. I love to find opals from the period with this intense blue coloring. Under magnification the pearls appear more like a bead in their finish but with normal wear they look like pearls.

Found in the UK, these are crafted in real gold with solid backs and a later French earwire for a lovely dangle.

No hallmarks but test at 10k gold.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers draw them out to get an idea of scale.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

They measure about 32mm top to bottom, the star portions about 20x14mm. The pair weighs 2.5g combined.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

As mentioned the pearls appear like beads. Some marks to the gold backs but this is not seen while wearing. No cracks or missing stones. They have a lovely coloring.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
